MemberCare Motor, Home, Contents, Investor, Boat or Caravan claims

No forms, no hassles.

To make a claim on your home, contents, investor, motor, boat or caravan cover, simply telephone our free call number from anywhere in Australia. One of our friendly consultants will help you through the claims process. It should only take about 10 minutes and they will discuss any proof of loss you may need to provide as well as any excess which may be applicable.

When you call it would be helpful to have your Policy information and as many details of the incident as possible.

Once we have your information it may be necessary to appoint a Loss Adjuster. If we do, the Adjuster will be in touch with you within 24 hours. The Adjuster may need to visit your home and if so will make an appointment at a time convenient for you.

If you call outside usual business hours, our emergency claims service will provide any assistance you may need, like appoint Tradespeople or provide a 'make safe' environment if necessary. The next business day one of our consultants will contact you to complete your claim lodgement.

Illness or Disability, Unemployment, Trauma and Death Cover

Claiming benefits under Consumer Credit Insurance.

Should you need to make a claim on your MemberCare Mortgage Insure, Mortgage Insure Plus, Loan Insure, Life Insure or Continuing Credit Insure policy based on an event such as sickness, injury or disability; unemployment or trauma, you will need to complete the appropriate claim form. Please contact the Claims Team on 1800 226 122 or download the relevant form from this website.

Please have the following information to hand when you call, as soon as possible after the event, and tell us your:
  • Policy Number
  • Name and Address
  • Type of Claim (E.g. Disability, Unemployment or Trauma).

Completing the Claim Form

Upon contacting CUNA Mutual Group to notify us that you would like to make a claim, we will send you the relevant claim form to complete and return. Alternatively you can download and print a claim form from this web page.

Claim forms are specific to the type of claim that you make, depending if you have insurance cover for disability, unemployment or trauma.

In some instances there will be sections for you and your treating medical practitioner or Employment Agency to complete. The form explains any additional information you may need to provide in order for us to assess your claim. Download them here:

Sickness, Injury or Disability Claim Form - You will need to provide medical details along with this form from an attending physician, for sickness or injury resulting from an accident.

Involuntary Unemployment Claim Form - Involuntary unemploymentu benefits require authority from both Centrelink or registered Job Network Agency and a Separation Certificate from your former employer along with this form.

Trauma Claim form – you will need to provide medical details along with this form, from your attending specialist.

Upon receipt of your completed Claim Form, the Claims Officer will review the claim and may request additional information in order to determine whether it meets the terms and conditions of your policy. For Example, we may request a further medical report from your treating Doctor/ Specialist or further information from your Employer. You will need to provide information to support your claim at your own expense.
